The ideal time for taking the SAT/ACT prep classes is when the student is at the second half of the 10th grade. By this time the student has taken most of the math subjects needed to answer the SAT questions and also has built a strong vocab. skills. By taking early the student will learn the key strategies and concepts to enable him/her to answer the SAT questions quickly and correctly. Furthermore, the student will have enough time to practice which is the key for getting a high SAT/ACT score. Educational Excellence will be offering a SAT prep class starting March 9th at Franklin High School in Somerset.

Colleges accept either one of them. Some students do better in the SAT while others can do better in the ACT.
